Kelly Pearson

Kelly Pearson is a Research Administrator and Grant Specialist at Kansas State University. With a degree from Texas Tech University’s College of Media and Communication, she graduated in December 2020 and began her career in research administration in the Spring of 2022.
Currently, Kelly’s role in the Office of Sponsored Programs allows her to work with a broad range of research fields and sponsors. She supports Kansas State University's Salina campus, Olathe campus, College of Architecture, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and Engineering Extension. Her work involves assembling and submitting grant proposals, facilitating research collaborations, and drafting contracts for non-competitive activities.
Kelly’s expertise extends across various funding bodies, including major sponsors like the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA-DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Energy (DOE), NASA, and additional private funders.
